Vintage heart music box necklace

This exquisite and rare piece is a vintage 14k working music box with the original chain. Clip it in the back to wear it short, or hang the pendant from the spring clasp to wear it long. It is unique, absolutely beautiful and I can promise you won't see something like this again. The texture and detail is stunning - I adore the Florentine finish with the engine turned border. This beauty dates to the late 1960's with a small but sweet engraving on the back: "From P.S. 12.25.68". To to turn the music box on, you simply slide the toggle to turn it on, flip up the winding mechanism and wind it up in back. 

14k, 27.42g. The heart measures 31.4mm in length, 31mm wide, and is 10mm thick. The chain is 17" in length when hooked at the back and 34" if worn long.
